Project Dates: 9–15 September 2026
We became a partner in Urban Precipices, which focuses on the social and environmental challenges associated with the urban heat island effect. Bringing together organizations from Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Spain, and Türkiye, the project aims to explore how rising urban temperatures can deepen existing inequalities, particularly for low-income communities, older people, people with disabilities, and migrants. By raising awareness of environmental and climate justice, the project seeks to encourage a more inclusive approach to urban development that considers the needs of different social groups.
🌱 Another key priority of Urban Precipices is to empower young people with fewer opportunities and strengthen the professional capacities of youth workers in environmental sustainability and inclusive urban planning. Through international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of good practices, the project aims to encourage participants to develop practical approaches to environmental challenges within their local communities. 🌍 By connecting youth work with climate action, Urban Precipices supports the vision of greener, fairer, and more liveable cities where everyone can benefit from a healthier and more sustainable urban environment.
